RCOMM2 VE Exam Session – Church Farm School, Exton, PA

Testing will be conducted at Church Farm School in Exton, conveniently located near Route 202, 30 Bypass, and Business Route 30. The testing building is along the school's main road leading to the primary parking lot—the first white building you will pass on your way to the lot.

This is an in-person, fully electronic, paperless exam session. Tablets will be provided for all examinees.

Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Walk-ins are welcome.

Requirements for testing:

• FCC Registration Number (FRN): Must be obtained prior to testing.
• Government-issued Photo ID: Required for all applicants.
• Proof of License (if upgrading): Bring any CSCEs not already recorded with the FCC.

Additional information:

• Testing is free.
• The exam is multiple-choice:
  • Technician: 35 questions, 26 correct to pass (74%)
  • General: 35 questions, 26 correct to pass (74%)
  • Extra: 50 questions, 37 correct to pass (74%)
• Upon successful completion, a Certificate of Successful Completion of Examination (CSCE) will be issued and forwarded to the FCC. Once processed and the $35 FCC application fee is paid, your license and call sign will appear in the FCC database.
