$15.00 test fee (cash or check, made out to WARA )

Exam candidates are required to register in the FCC CORES system and receive a Federal Registration Number (FRN). The FRN is needed to pre-register and required to take the exam. Bring the FRN with you on exam day.

To obtain an FRN you need to:

• Create a CORES account with the FCC (if you have not already done so): Click here

• Select "Register New FRN" and follow the instructions.

Legal photo ID

Your existing amateur radio license (for any who are upgrading)

Certificate of Successful Completion of Examination (CSCE) for any prior testing credits that are not yet reflected by the FCC
