Honolulu Exam Session

Standard test requirements for each applicant are as follows:

1. A government photo ID is required.
2. If licensed, bring a signed copy of your existing license, or any CSCE credits that may apply.
3. FRN number is required to register for the exam session. You may obtain your FRN number at the following website: https://www.fcc.gov/wireless/support/universal-licensing-system-uls-resources/getting-fcc-registration-number-frn
4. Active email address.
5. Fee: $12 cash, no checks, exact change.
6. An Android tablet device for taking the paperless examination will be provided. For exam integrity, candidates are not allowed to supply their own electronic devices for in-person exam sessions.
7. No caps, smart watches, ear buds, headsets, etc.
8. If you want to use a calculator, you must be able to demonstrate to the Volunteer Examiners that the memory has been cleared and that no formulas remain within it. Such formulas can be reprogrammed back into the calculator once we verify the memory has been cleared.
9. Make sure that you arrive a few minutes early so that the exam session can begin on time. Late arrivals will not be allowed to enter once the exam session has started so that others are not distracted while taking their exams.
