Digital Selective Calling (DSC) is a radio mode for broadcasting on MF, HF, and VHF standard messages.
The mode is a component of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System, using VHF 156.525 MHz, or Channel 70.
Only messages relating to distress, safety, or calling are permitted, using digital selective calling (DSC).
